Kitchen makeover complete! A burst pipe left some rather unsightly water stains on the ceiling. Stains blocked and ceiling finished in Teknoceiling white emulsion. Walls painted with Crown Trade Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt tinted to match Dulux ‘Goose Down’. Woodwork finished with Benjamin Moore Scuff-X in a white satin finish. 👌🎨

How’s this for a transformation? This charming cottage was in desperate need of some TLC… with delaminated masonry paint on the front and plastic masonry paint on the side lime wall trapping in moisture and stopping the wall from breathing like it should. First I got to work removing the failed paint coatings then called in Dan at @progreenpembs to give it all a fungicide wash ready for painting.
The masonry and lime walls tinted to match Farrow & Ball’s ‘White Tie’ using Wethertex AP77 flexible smooth masonry paint and Keim Soldalit ME mineral paint. The woodwork tinted to match ‘Stone Blue’ & ‘White Tie’ for the fascia boards using Benjamin Moore Aura exterior paint in an eggshell finish. Paint tinted to ‘Downpipe’ for the windowsills and an anti slip floor paint for the plinth and steps. 🎨👌

Loved working on this beautiful property! Masonry painted with Wethertex AP77 flexible smooth masonry paint tinted to ‘Classic Cream’, ‘Slate Grey’ and White respectively. The woodwork with Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior eggshell paint in White & ‘Slate Grey’ for the stunning front door.

Love this stunning transformation! Masonry painted with Wethertex AP77 Flexible smooth masonry paint tinted to ‘Blue Sky’ and ‘Brilliant White’ respectively. Lots of preparation on the woodwork and a combination of new wood, Oxera epoxy resin & Toupret wood filler before priming the hardwood with Benjamin Moore Insl-X Max Block, undercoating with Caparol Haftprimer and finished with Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior in a white satin finish. 👌🎨

Dave has just decorated our seaside cottage. Throughout the whole process he has demonstrated true professional qualities. He is meticulous about the preparation and process and cannot be faulted in the manner that he works or in the quality of his painting. We met some unexpected challenges during the work being done,not least the weather, but Dave negotiated these all. The previous decoration had been made inappropriate for a limed wall and only became apparent during preparation needing a change of tack. Dave was able to demonstrate his knowledge and experience of how best to deal with this problem. Dave was also fully able to interpret our ideas of colour matching very well and also quite capable of mixing paint to get a better match. We have a period property, so there were some fiddly bits and a few extra considerations. Dave was fantastic in guiding us through the decisions for these.
